Mapping Abuja, the Capital city of Nigeria was one of the most amazing time I ever had.
Although, the gap between the rich and the poor in Nigeria is well visible in Abuja.
I saw great and beautiful mad architectural houses yet, no one lived in some of these houses...I was perturbed with what I saw and my imagination.
Abuja is located at the Middle belt part of Nigeria and has states within the North central proximal to it....
Abuja is home to the Gbagyi tribe but has inhabitants from diverse parts of Nigeria such as; Igbos, Yorubas, Hausas, Igalas, TiVs, Idomas, Fulanis, Urhobo, Kanuris, Ibibios, Efiks, Ijaws and all tribes in general including foreign nationals.
Right behind me where I took this photo is a house owned by a notable politician and Military General.
I strolled to Shehu Musa Yar'Adua center located at Wise, Abuja.
I took a photograph with a standing stature of Late Nigeria's President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua.
His family life and history is well documented at the centre.
Trust me this House is so beautiful I wondered why my friend couldn't get the full view of the house.
I love it!...
My tools were on ground and very set for mapping
My tools included; A GPS, a tour guide Map and writing pad and a pen.
I actually mapped Abuja phase 1 encompassing Wuse I and II, Garki I and II, Maitama, and Asokoro.
It was an interesting tour I tell you....
