Hi guys,
This is a second part of our trip to Trip to Las Vegas, Zion National Park, and Grand canyon.
Here is the link to the first post: https://steemit.com/travel/@minjunpark/3-4-trip-to-las-vegas-zion-national-park-and-grand-canyon-in-3-nights-4-days
In this post, I will post pictures those I was supposed to post on my previous post, and explain some of the photos.
Little out of order, but this is a picture taken from scout's overlook. This overlook overlooks the opposite side of the entrance of the park. Over the railing, it is verticle drop to death. The view was amazing. It was kinda scary to take a photo leaning towards it so I didn't
Here is a panorama attempt from the top of Angel's landing.
This picture was taken on the way to the Angel's Landing from scout's overlook. It shares the same view as a upper photo but has more hills behind the hills

This picture below was taken at Angel's landing, looking towards the entrance of the park. Beautiful eh?
Hiking from scout's overlook to Angel's landing was extremely dangerous and difficult. Below photo is how it looks from the mid way. We didn't take a photo of the entire thing, damn it. For those who wonder, google got our back.
The second image below this paragraph shows how close the hiking trail is near the drop. There were a lot of people who stopped at scout's overlook due to fear of height.
It was def worth trying for me and my wife.

This image was taken on the way down. Looking same direction as the one above, but from about half way down the mountain. Similar but contrasting view as the shadows formed.

This is a part of switchback we had to climb. It may look easy from the photo, but it was super difficult for us since we were out of shape. Some poor people were still climbing up.
This is a view that you would get if you get a chance to look around during the switchbacks. Again, beautiful.
This is an entrance of The Narrows hike. Little disappointing as I heard a lot of good things about it. I wish we had stayed one more day here to do this hike. There are a lot of beautiful parts during the hike according to google.
I think part of the reason why it didn't look as pictures from google was that it was a drought season. Water level was very low unfortunately.
Oh, on the way back from The Narrows, we saw a strange and odd looking bird that we have never seen. It was just walking around the trail. My wife and I thought it was some random wild turkey. However, when we got home and searched it, apparently it was a california condor, a rare animal to spot. We were really lucky. I don't like birds so we weren't that appreciative
We did two hikes so far, Angel's landing and River side walk(short easy hike from the shuttle stop to The Narrow's hike).
We felt guilty just leaving, so we decided to do another short hike, which goes towards Emerald pool. We were sort of excited as emerald coloured water is pretty.
It was not. Again, due to the draought season, instead of Emerald pool, it was emerald puddle at the very best.
There were suppose to be a water fall, but I guess we came in the wrong season to see the pretty view. This is the view of the puddle... Little sad.
Took another panorama showing the entire view of it. At the top left, there are marks of waterfall and at the bottom, there is an unfortunate puddle.
After this hike, we ate and drove to Grand Canyon as told from the previous post.
Next post should be about Grand Canyon day!
