This is certainly one of the most unusual public parks in the world. Initially, a housing estate, a garden town with sixty residential buildings, was to be built there. The owner of the building was an industrialist, owner of textile factories. - Eusebi Güell, who during his numerous voyages to England has been inspired by his neighborhoods-gardens, inhabited by wealthy layers of society. He decided to build something similar in Barcelona, commissioning the architectural project of Gaudi.![park.jpg](
The artist started work around 1900, but from the planned sixty buildings were created only two, with extremely fancy shapes, resembling gingerbread huts.
