One of the beautiful locations where the game of thrones were recorded. The Klis Fortress is mentioned already in the 5th century. It is one of the most preserved fortresses in this area.
It was built cascading in three lanes of limestone blocks on limestone rocks. It is unavailable on the three sides that made it difficult to conquer.
