On June 2007, people from the city of Lucerne and the adjustment town of Littau passed a referendum to merge to form a new city which is still called Lucerne. The climate in the city is conducive for people from all corners of the globe.
It is known to attract a huge number of tourists on a yearly basis because of its historically rich and beautiful infrastructure. The fresco-adorned historic houses are lined in the streets of the city and therefore from the main tourism attractions.
