Not only a romantic holiday destination for couples, Paris is also a great destination for family with children. If you proposed to your beloved one in this City of Light, or if you both tied the knot here, and then come again every now and then to celebrate your anniversaries, you can keep doing so with your little ones!
Here are some ideas that might please them:
France Miniature
Located just a bit more than an hour drive from Paris, you will enchant your little children as they discover the French monuments in their cute sizes. You will meet the realistic replicas of more than one hundred architectures such as La Tour Eiffel, Versailles, Mont-Saint-Michel, Chenonceau Castle, Chambord Castle, the medieval ruins of Carcassonne, the village of Saint Emilion, Saint Tropez Harbor and many other landmarks in France. What a great way to introduce the world heritage and cultural beauty in early age.

Disneyland Paris
Yes, we must not forget this from our list and Disneyland always attracts young children and teenagers – even some young adults are still big fans! Disneyland Paris consists of two parks, Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park, and a shopping district, Disney Village.
Weekends are the busiest so if you can avoid them that’s great. Wednesdays is Kids Day where the toddlers will have a more serene access for rides and attractions that suit them. Remember to take Baby Switch card at the entrance if you are new parents coming along with a baby.
Another thing that might be worth it is having a VIP Agent with you for 5 hours in the parks. It costs a lot but it will let you skip the lines and have Fast Passes for the most demanded attractions during your time visiting. Otherwise, you can take individual Fast Pass which valid for one hour so you might want to take it every two hours. The final hour is also great for final rides with fewer queues.

Parisian Gardens
It’s so easy to stay in the heart of Paris and then go to a local market to prepare your picnic in one of the Parisian Gardens. There are a lot to choose from and I have some favorites for you in my previous post here.

Interesting Exhibit in Paris
There is a huge superhero exhibit that is going on in Paris this autumn. It’s "The Art of DC - The dawn of Superheroes" at Le Musée Art Ludique, where the entire team from DC comics is on show. Take your family & children to visit this exhibit to see the original cartoon covers, costumes and accessories from Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, The Joker, Catwoman, and so on, thanks to the collaboration with DC Entertainment and the participation of Warner Bros.
For the first time in the world, this exhibit displays the artistic dynamism of almost one century after the birth of Superman, which first appeared in 1938 as the first superhero who brought a revolution and big influence in literature, fashion, television and of course cinema. This current exhibit is so successful that it is extended until January 7, 2018.

Hot Air Balloon in and around Paris
On a good sunny day, try this hot air balloon at Parc André Citroën Paris and enjoy the view of the city from above. The balloon will not fly, but will take you up to 150m above the ground and one balloon can fit up to 30 guests.

If you wish to fly on a hot air balloon you can also organize this from a chateau around Paris. There is one in Chateau d’Esclimont and another in Chateau de Maintenon – both are located around 1½ to 2 hours away from Paris. Another option is from Chateau de Fountainebleau, which is just around one hour drive from Paris. For this hot air balloon, we can have a private flight for 4 guests or a bigger basket for 10-16 guests. Don’t forget that hot air balloons fly very early in the morning before sunrise or in the late afternoon, just before the sundown. Enjoy!

So, what do you think? I know that some people will happily do these things even without children, and if you are blessed with the young ones, they will be happy to share some magic moments with you in Paris!
