Known for it’s traditional methods of fishing, this lake was my favorite place I visited in Myanmar. We were taking a ride on a traditional long motorboat when this lovely man pulled up beside us and let me hop on for a photo.
After a 2 day hike, through vast fields and scenic paths, from Kalaw, we finally made it to this altitude lake. With houses on stilts and floating farms it made me question the complexity of our lives in the west and definitely sparked inspiration within me to live a more simple life.
