The main naval parade took place in the historical part of the city of St. Petersburg and in the Kronstadt raid.
Over 40 warships and boats, 38 aircraft of naval aviation and about 4 thousand servicemen took part in the solemn review. First, the Supreme Commander on board cut the parade line of warships on the Kronstadt roadstead: they are too large to enter the water area of the Neva.
After that, accompanied by Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu visited the Peter and Paul Fortress and the Peter and Paul Cathedral.
