you might already know that we‘ve been to Sicily last year and will be back very soon again (can‘t wait!).
We gladly found some time to pay Noto a short but sweet visit.
Noto, located in the South East of Sicily, is a baroque city which is UNESCO World Heritage.
Beautiful art made out of stones :)
Most of Noto‘s population work in industry, agriculture or tourism.
Although, I think a rental car is the best way to explore Sicily, you can reach Noto by train, too.
The city‘s appearance is characterized by the bright stones (tufa) the houses are built with. It gives Noto a friendly and nice image :)
I think I don‘t have to mention that, like in every Italian city, it is not easy to decide on a restaurant as the food is incredible everywhere. As we just wanted a snack, we went for sandwiches.
