Hey everyone, I would like to show you what I think is one of the most beautiful islands in Thailand - Koh Lipe.
Koh Lipe is part of Satun province in the South of Thailand. It's not a quick trip from Bangkok, I had to first fly to Hat Yai. The good thing is that it's low season now, so the prices are a bit cheaper!
Early morning... I have to wake up and go to Don Muang Airport, Bangkok. Flying to Hat Yai takes around 1.5 hours. After arriving, the next step is a minivan to go to Satun, this took around 2 hours. After ariving at Satun, I still had to take a speed boat (in high season they have a big boat which is cheaper). The speedboat took about 1.5 hours as the weather was quite bad.
When I first arrived I was shocked... I'd never seen clear water like this before! This was also my first time I'd travelled far away from Bangkok (as well as my first airplane flight! :P).
The first thing I'm looking for on this island is Seven-Eleven because I'm sooooo hungry. I always thought the price in Seven-Eleven was the same everywhere but it's not... Everything was 3x more expensive!
My hotel is a budget bungalow. No air-coin but luckily there was a fan. Time to relax, think about my travel plans and chill.
The next day, I woke up early to see the sun ride and do some activities. I want to go on boat and do some snorkelling, I'd never seen coral before :/
After 5 days of chill, it's time to head back to Bangkok, but not before a Thai BBQ in Hat Yai!
