It was first time that we were in a cruise ship, and we arrived in Santorini island. We were there at a pleasant evening in October.
Oia and Fira are most attractive village in this island and both are very nice places to stay or visit, but we made one mistake. While cable cars arrive in Fira, you must take taxi to Oia. You should consider long distance and waste of time that driver cause in finding more passengers, specially in vans. Therefore I strongly recommend to visit Oia firstly if you arrive in afternoon.
Narrow streets that goes to windmill was crowded at sunset time. But after sunset you have chance to walk around in a calm and spectacular experience.
