Today marks the annual Gay Pride Parade in my home city Vancouver. It's one of my absolute favourite days of the year. The atmosphere is amazing and everyone is always so happy and joyful. One of the many things I love about Canada is the inclusiveness and diversity. In 2005 we became the 4th country to legalize marriage equality and after living in Australia and seeing this issue still being argued over in government, it makes me very proud of my country. Happy Pride everyone!
