This past weekend my husband and I visited Hogwarts and Hogsmeade at Universal Islands of Adventure in Orlando. He has never been to Universal and I have only once as a kid and it was rained out. So this was a new experience for the both of us!
Hogwarts was so cool! It was huge and inside was the "Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey" ride. You are not allowed to take photos inside the ride, but it was like you are really in the movie! You are chased by Hagrid's loose dragon, run into some giant spiders, play Quidditch, and the part that scared me the most was facing the dementors!
Over in Hogsmeade there are restaurants and shops. I couldn't try the Butterbeer because it is not vegan, but I had Pumpkin Juice! You can also buy wands here to wave in front of different areas for something magical to happen!
All Harry Potter fans and even those who aren't fans (my husband has never seen the movies) need to check out the Wizarding World of Harry Potter!
