"Absorbing The Energy"

Its been non stop raining the past few weeks, with few days of sun. My friend captured me on a hidden beach in #Onetangi soaking up the rays.
Its dope finding the hidden nooks and crannies of the island. Theres something special everywhere you look.

Trying to reflect on all the craziness thats been happening, its easy to lose sight of my actual mission. Though the original mission was to travel and learn; I feel as though I found a life here. I could live this new life everyday and not get tired. The cost of living is very reasonable. I have lots to learn from the people here and many opportunities are presenting themselves. My spirit is full of love and energy and this island only fuels it more and more. I think I might stick around a little longer.

I wrote these words down today after I woke up. Im not sure why I was feeling these words, but I wanted to share.

“Wake up from a dream to reality and look around. All is beautiful but not well. The light shines, but darkness just beneath the soil. Peace is hard to come by in a land of greed and money. Control is an aspect not meant for man. Release the control on your perceptions and dive into the dark. The light may follow and brighten a path to your essence.

Now go back to sleep”
