While filming in Europe’s biggest port, I saw a lot of gigantic vessels. They are transporting all the goods we think we badly need to make it through the day: Flatscreens, the new Nike shoes and frozen fish. But do we really have to have these things imported from the other side of the world? Can’t we buy less or at least more local? Because the price is much higher than the label in the store, as the shipping industry as it is today is really bad for our environment. So I am already excited for my upcoming project to do a documentary about eco friendly solutions in the cargo industry.
