Hello Steemit!
Airbnb has definitely become one of my favorite ways to find a place to stay when traveling but also to get know new people by hosting them in my house.
As you probably know, Airbnb is a lodging site that functions as part of the sharing economy — essentially, people rent out their rooms, apartments, and houses to people looking for a place to stay. This unusual lodging site has saved me a lot of money and led to some of my most memorable stays.
Here below the 3 main tips I have learnt as Airbnb host for almost 8 years
1 Mi casa es su casa (my house is your house!)
The best feeling you can give your guest is truly that your home is their home. Good photos in your description would indeed help. Take a look to my photo:
#2 Comfortable room as you would love to find it
These are the most important needs of any weary guest. Make sure they have a towel on their bed, water or tea close to your guest.
#3 Connect
After getting settled it's important to take time with your guest and sit down, share a drink, connect and go over the evening and days ahead. This is the best way for greeting your guest and overall the beauty when traveling and meeting new people around the world. In the end, you are sharing the same house!
So do not think about it twice and give Airbnb a try when travelling. Easy way to connect people, like Steemit! Feel free to use my Airbnb invitation and explore a new world: www.airbnb.es/c/amartin30
See you soon Steemians!
