Beardtown is a quaint little rural tourism attraction in Jiangyin, a county level city of Wuxi, which is between Changzhou, and the Suzhou, and its county level city of Zhangjiagang. By quaint, part of it looks like this.
"Beardtown" in this case refers the Chinese character on the right side to the photo: 胡子小镇. The characters 胡子 can mean beard, moustache, or whiskers, and 小镇 is small town or village. Hence, "Beardtown" being the de facto. What you are seeing here is a small strip of higher end hotels without a lot of rooms with an expensive per night room rate.
