I moved to Brighton 2 years ago and I think it was on of my best choices ever. It's a very young, vibrant city mostly due to the two big Universities (University of Sussex and University of Brighton) and also because of the various colleges around the city. But it's not only the students that add to Brighton's identity. There are many artists living here and you can see signs of that everywhere you go. The high street, the North Laines , the sea front, the Hove lawns, the Brighton Pier, the I360 and so many other reasons. I'll tell you why visiting Brighton is a must in this article series that i called "One good reason to visit Brighton at the time".
The Brighton Pier
Also known as the Palace Pier is the 3rd Pier to be constructed in Brighton after Royal Suspension Chain Pier and the West Pier and it's the only one standing at this time. It was constructed in 1899 and it quickly become the main entertainment place along the Brighton Seaside.

It now has integrated restaurants, coffee shops, arcade games, an amusement park with different fairground rides and roller coasters and it's visited by more that 4 million people every year.

Wether you choose to shoot some hoops, waste a small "fortune" on the never ending coin machines, enjoy a coffee while watching the waves breaking at the shore, The Palace Pier is definitely one of Brighton's most emblematic places and totally worth a visit.
