Everyone comes to Santorini to watch the awesome sunset. We have been here twice. You must look for a perfect spot to enjoy the sunset and capture the moments. Hoards of tourists go there to watch the sunset, so get there a couple of hours early.
Usually when we watch sunsets, we look at the sun and the horizon. Not so in Santorini. The most beautiful scenery is the reflection that the white wash homes give when the sun sets.
Sit there and let God speak to your heart in these special moments. This is what makes Santorini so unique and special.
Look at the crowd.
Don't worry. Right after the sunset, they leave.
Travel Gem Tip: DON'T leave.
Stay there because that is when you will see the following spectacular scene an hour after sun down. Pack a light sandwich and stay put there for the evening.
This is truly one of the 7 Wonders of the world.
