Dear friends and followers,
I am really proud to present my trip to Great Wall of China, UNESCO Heritage site. The Great Wall of China was on my list of traveling around the world. I had a chance to visit this place on 16 May 2018. It was a nice experience traveling alone to the Great Wall, so I would like to share with you here.
I was so excited at that day. I woke up very early at 5 am in the morning. I took the taxi at 6.15 from the apartment in Beijing in the City center to the bus station called "Deshengmen". It was around 15 minutes. And I paid 70 yuan for the taxi, I got discount from 100 yuan. And it was really difficult to cash the taxi on the street in China. I'm not sure why. If you know the reason why, please let me know. I chose to take a taxi because of the apartment's owner where we rent. He suggested. We thought it's easy. But if you take the subway is very cheap only 4 yuan and it's very easy too. But I knew about it myself later by taking the subway back home after my trip. I just told myself, it was good experience as well by taking a taxi.
I took the bus number 877 from Deshengmen station to Badaling at 7.30 am. It takes an hour to Badaling. The bus to Badaling start from 6 am - 5 pm. After 5 pm you have to take the taxi back to the city and it's quite expensive, so If you visit The Great Wall at Badaling make sure you have to take the bus latest at 5 pm. On the bus was full of tourists. There is a lady who explained about the Great Wall of China in the Chinese language on the bus for an hour until we arrived at Badaling. Unfortunately, I did not understand anything she was telling about. I just sat and watched the views of nature from the bus.
After jumped out of the bus at Badaling. I headed to buy 2 the tickets, one for the entrance to the Great Wall 40 yuan and a sliding car for round-trip ticket 100 yuan. After buying the tickets, I bought some foods and drink for breakfast, then started exploring the Great Wall. At Badaling has many shops selling souvenirs, foods, fruits, and drinks where you can enjoy shopping and try local foods.
On the way to a sliding car station. I have visited the black bears in the big and wide place in the front of a sliding car station. They were very big and lovely. You can buy some food and feed them by throwing food in the cage. They will be very happy. But I didn't do that, but many tourists did. I felt happy for them.
There were many people in a long cue waited for taking the sliding cars. I waited for a half an hour. OMG! Badaling is very close to the city Beijing, and it's very easy to visit the Great Wall just one hour by bus, so many tourists decided to come here. If you don't like, you can visit the Great Wall at Mutianyu. But Mutainya is a bit far from the city, it's around 2 hours by bus. I'm not sure if you can take the train or subway to Mutianyu. You may check on the internet before you decide. For me it was find.
It was around 10 minutes taking a sliding car to the Great Wall. When I arrived there, I felt amazed how they can build such a long wall like this. I was stunned at the wonderful views and many tourists.
The popular spot for taking photos. As there are many people, so I couldn't have any photos from this point. That was not a problem for me. I just took a photo of a lovely couple of tourists for showing with you as you can see from a photo below.
The Great Wall, one of the most iconic monuments on earth. stands as a symbol of the grandeur of China's ancient history. Dating back 2,000 years, the wall snakes it was through 17 provinces, principalities, and autonomous regions. But nowhere is better than Beijing to visit the wonderful architecture of the Great Wall of China.
The Great Wall of China has many Watchtowers where you can take a rest for avoiding the sun if you feel hot and tired.
After I enjoyed exploring the Great Wall. I walked back to the sliding car station and took the sliding car back to the Badaling bus station. I took the same bus number as I took in the morning to Badaling. Bus number 877 to the Deshengmen. Then I walked around 5 minutes from Deshengmen to the Jishuihan subway station and took the subway line 2 to the city center around 15 minutes. And I get lost in the city center before I had to arrive at the apartment safely.

วันนี้ดิฉันอยากแบ่งปันประสบการณ์การเดินทางไปเที่ยวกำแพงเมืองจีนเมื่อวันที่ 16 พฤษภาคม ที่ผ่านมา เริ่มจากการเดินทางจากตัวเมืองปักกิ่ง ดิฉันตื่นเต้นมาก ที่ต้องเดินทางไปเที่ยวกำแพงเมืองจีนคนเดว ตื่นตั้งแต่ตีห้าเพื่อเตรียมตัว และกลัวไม่ทันรถบัสด้วยค่ะ ดิฉันนั่งแท็กซี่จากตัวเมืองไปที่สถานีรถบัส ชื่อ Deshengmen. ซึ่งใช้เวลาประมาณ 15 นาทีเพราะรถไม่ติด ค่าแท็กซี่ 70 หยวน จริงๆแล้วคนขับแจ้งราคาแท็กซี่ 10 หยวน แต่เราใช้วิชาต่อราคาเหลือ 70 ค่าแท็กซี่แพงเมื่อเทียบกับการนั่งรถไฟใต้ดิน ซึ่งดิฉันนั่งตอนขากลับจากทริปเข้าเมืองแค่ 4 หยวน รู้สึกเสียดายเงินนิดๆ แต่ก็ไม่เป็นไรค่ะ เป็นประสบการณ์เลยอยากนำมาแบ่งปันในวันนี้
นั่งรถบัสประมาณหนึ่งชั่วโมงก็ถึงด่าน Badaling. ซึ่งกำแพงเมืองจีนมีหลายด่าน ที่นิยมคือ Badaling และ Mutianyu. ด่าน Badaling คนจะเยอะเนื่องจากอยู่ใกล้เมืองปักกิ่ง เดินทางสะดวก และวิวทิวทัศน์ก็สวยงามค่ะ ส่วน Mutianyu ต้องนั่งรถบัสประมาณสองชั่วโมง ถ้านั่งรถไฟก็ต้องเปลี่ยนหลายสถานี โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งคนจีนส่วนใหญ่ไม่พูดภาษาอังกฤษ จึงมีความไม่สะดวกมากค่ะในการถามข้อมูลต่างๆ แนะนำให้โหลดแอพ VPN และ Mapme ไว้ในมือถือเพื่อสะดวกในการเดินทางค่ะ
เมื่อไปถึงที่ด่าน Badaling ก็เดินไปซื้อตั๋วเข้าชมกำแพงเมืองจีน 40 หยวน และ ซื้อตั๋วเพื่อขึ้นรถสไลด์เพื่อไปที่กำแพงด้านบน ตั๋วไป-กลับ 100 หยวนค่ะ เสร็จแล้วก็เดินไปขึ้นรถสไลด์ ระหว่างทางเดินก่อนไปถึงสถานีรถสไลด์ มีหมีดำอยุในกรงขนาดใหญ่ให้ชม มีหมีหลายตัวเลยค่ะ มีนักท่องเที่ยวหลายคนซื้ออาหารและโยนเข้าไปในกรงให้มัน ชมหมีเสร็จก็ไปเข้าแถวเพื่อขึ้นรถสไลด์ื คนเข้าแถวต่อคิวขึ้นรถสไลด์เยอะมากค่ะ ดิฉันรอประมาณ 30 นาทีกว่าจะได้ขึ้น โชคดีที่แดดไม่แรงค่ะ ตอนขึ้นรถสไลด์รู้สึกเหมือนอยู่ในสวนสนุกเลยค่ะ ฮ่าฮ่า แต่ว่ารถสไลด์ที่นี่จะเคลื่อนที่ช้ากว่าในสวนสนุก แต่รู้สึกว่าตื่นเต้นกว่าการขึ้นรถกระเช้ามากค่ะจากประสบการณ์ที่ผ่านมา
พอไปถึงข้างบนก็จะพบกับกำแพงเมืองที่น่าตื่นตาตื่นใจ และวิวที่สวยงามค่ะ ดิฉันเดินสำรวจอยู่หลายชั่วโมง ทั้งถ่ายรูป ทานอาหาร พักไปด้วย เอาให้คุ้มค่าที่ได้มาค่ะ ฮ่าฮ่า มีร้านอาหารอยู่ข้างบนร้านนึ่ง แต่ต้องเดินไปสักประมาณ 15 นาทีจากจุดที่เราลงมาจากรถสไลด์ พอเที่ยวชมทัศนียภาพของกำแพงเมืองจีนจนสะใจแล้ว ก็เดินกลับโดยดิฉันจะไม่เดินในกำแพงเมืองจีน แต่เดินเส้นทางข้างนอกกำแพง เพราะแดดเริ่มแรงขึ้น มีกำแพงบดบังแดดและชมวิวที่สวยงามนอกกำแพงไปด้วยค่ะ เดินกลับไปขึ้นรถสไลด์เพื่อกลับไปที่ด่าน Badaling. เดินเที่ยวชมตลาดที่ด่าน ซื้อของฝาก ถ่ายรูป ซื้อของกินและขึ้นรถบัส 877 กลับไปที่ Deshengmen. และขึ้นรถไฟใต้ดินเข้าไปในเมืองปักกิ่งค่ะ มีการหลงทางค่ะ หาที่พักไม่เจอ พอดีลืมเอาที่อยู่ที่พักไปด้วย โชคดีเจอตำรวจเดินมาเลยถามทาง ซึ่งดิฉันถ่ายรูปแผนที่ไว้และเดาค่ะว่าที่พักเราอยู่ตรงไหน โชคดีที่เดาถูกและตำรวจพูดภาษาอังกฤษได้ ฮ่าฮ่า ทริปนี้ก็ทั่งสนุก และป่วนตอนจบทริปกันเลยที่เดว แต่ก็เป็นประสบการณ์ที่ดีมากค่ะ
