Between Packing Chaos and New Plans
Yesterday just slipped through my fingers — no post, no photos, nothing. One of those days where everything moves fast, but somehow nothing gets done.
So today I told myself: better to write something than stay silent.
The countdown has started. The day after tomorrow we’re heading to Bangkok, where we’ll spend four days before flying off to the next country. Feels like everything is happening at once.
Today is all about packing. And as usual — nothing fits.
No matter how many times you travel, this part never gets easier. You lay everything out thinking this time it’ll be different, and then reality hits: the suitcase is already full, and you’re only halfway through.
In situations like this, I have a simple strategy — I start letting things go. Mostly T-shirts, shorts, random clothes. The least painful sacrifices.
I’ve never been into brands anyway, I keep things simple, so it’s easier to just leave stuff behind without overthinking it.
By the end of the day, we should end up with:
4 large suitcases
2 carry-ons
2 backpacks
One of those backpacks is, of course, dedicated to camera gear — the only thing that never gets left behind.
Tomorrow we’ll do one last round through our favorite spots, kind of a quiet goodbye before the next move. Then it’s straight into travel mode.
Bangkok is already fully planned — at least on paper.
And I’m really hoping to come back with a ton of fresh shots and stories for upcoming posts.
Let’s see how it goes.
See you soon.
Thank you for your likes, your comments, and your time. It never goes unnoticed.
I write my texts myself, correct mistakes and translate via ChatGPT (which is not a violation on Hive)! All photos were taken by me personally - I am a beginner photographer, so I ask professionals not to judge strictly.
Thank you for sharing these moments with me! Until new stories and new holidays! ✌️.
