Holiday at Scottburgh.
Normally, my wife and I go on vacation during the Easter Holiday. This year the school holiday, was after Easter, as Covid messed around with the school year.
We went to Scottburgh, which is on the KwaZulu Natal East Coast of South Africa.
It is our tradition to eat fish and chips on the first evening after arriving, as we are tired after spending 8 hours on the road and after setting up camp. This specific fish and chips shop still gives the fish and chips wrapped in paper.
Obviously we also had some wine and beer to go with the food.
Below you can see our set up. We camp with our caravan, and my son and his girlfriend sleeps in the small tent, that just sticks out on the left hand side of the photo.
Our camp site is right on the beach, it is just amazing. You hear the waves at night and during the day we have an awesome view!!
What more could one want, a beautiful view and family as company, to enjoy a well earned rest??
