It was a grey old day here in Sydney yesterday. Cold and a little rainy with full cloud cover and a real dreary winter feel. The type of day when the light is flat, and no matter where you point your camera the result is a flat, washed-out look.
Finding myself at The Rocks and by Sydney Harbour, I still couldn't help myself, I had to take a few photos, even though I knew that the results would be less than spectacular. This one was by far the best, and even so, I had to convert it to black and white and darken the shadows considerably to get any feeling or depth from the image.
