I was born in 1977 so, you know, I'm a Star Wars fan by nature. Not a hardcore one but I really really love it. But my daughter "Ada" is a hardcore fan :)
When Force Awakens released, I've heard more than 50% of Ada's friends (they're around 7 years old) say "What is Star Wars?"
I've found their lack of faith disturbing!
I've expected this but...
Over time the number of children who watched the movie began to increase. They began to watch the previous episodes, and slowly & steadily they we're becoming fans of the franchise.
Anyway, 3 months ago (June 2017), we had a trip to Disneyland Paris. I haven't told her that it was the "Season of the Force" :) You should see her face when she discovered that and saw Star Wars themed rides, activities and characters all over the place.
The first ride we took was Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain, she didn't expect that much speed and momentum, but she dealt with it. She said "Dad, we turned upside-down and flipped many times, can you believe it?"
We took as many rides as we can in 3 days, met Darth Vader, she made her own custom droid A3-Y5, bought some Lego... I think she had the best 3 days in her life.
TLDR; if your children (and you) love Star Wars, don't miss out the Season of the Force, it will be at Disneyland till 25th March 2018.
Take care, bye...
