What better place for Taco Tuesday than the Las Vegas Strip!
Taco Tuesday has arrived once again and it is time to stroll the Strip and end up with some epic tacos! It all started outside the Bellagio with the Cosmopolitan nearby.
Across the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard South and Flamingo, we grab a view of The Cromwell.
Walking north along Las Vegas Blvd., we pass by Caesar’s Palace, which apparently doesn’t have a phone bank for anyone to use if your beeper starts blowing up.
Busting a 180 degree move from Caesar’s, we see The Flamingo across the street.
Now let’s hop over the Strip to the East side of the action and go down a small avenue of food, drink and mayhem. First thing we see is the Incredible Hulk’s Lamborghini for rent, I think it was about $199 for 4 hours of mischief. Maybe we’ll grab it for a future post, so check back and see if it happens 😉
A little deeper down, we see a favorite food option for most of the world: In-N-Out Burger on the other side of a nice fountain type feature.
The further we go down this way will get us to the High Roller ticket booth. The High Roller is the world’s tallest observation ferris wheel which beats out the London Eye and Singapore Flyer. We shall check that in the future as well, today is all about tacos, not world’s tallest whatevers.
Heading back towards the Strip we see Paris Las Vegas and Bally’s across the way, that’s where we’ll be headed.
Before we figure out where the tacos are at, we grab another glimpse of Caesar’s Palace.
Just as the approach to Bally’s gets closer, we see what we’ve been looking for the whole night, ‘Tequila Taqueria”
And of course ALL Gringos are welcome 😜
Once this fine establishment was located, it was time to get the party started. To kick off the festivities, a huge plate of mega nachos was ordered. Supposedly enough for 6 amigos, it was freaking huge and delicious.
Taco Tuesday without tacos would be a criminal act, so here are the carne asada street style tacos.
And of course everybody requires some chicken tacos with a fat wedge of avocado on top too right?
The food was good, the stroll was fantastic, and Las Vegas was as lively as ever, even though the heat is insane at this time of year. All in all it was a great time and another epic Taco Tuesday is in the books!
