Rome is an incredible city filled with iconic architecture, deep history, hidden streets and beautiful light. Overall, Rome was a much needed break. It was 16 degrees Celsius and sunny in December, so we were able to spend hours strolling the cobbled streets with gelato in hand, but trainers are a must because the cobblestone ruins you! So difficult to believe that it was almost Christmas, it was a reality shock to land back in Scotland.
