Hey guys todays topic is just like the title says, the Jules WijdenBosch bridge also known as Bosje Brug. It is named after a former president of Suriname. The bridge crosses the Suriname river and connects district Paramaribo with Commewijne.
This photo was made from a place we call "waterkant", literally translated this means water side. This is a place where tourists and locals get to walk pass the beautifull view you see on the picture. After a hard day of work it can be very relaxing to just sit and look at the water. It really calms you down.
But back to the bridge. I knew a time where the bridge was being build and someone told me that the only way people from Commewijne could come to the main city of Paramaribo was with a boat. Now some people still choose to use the boat but thanks to the bridge they have a second option. This is the biggest bridge in Suriname.
That was it for this blog. Thank you for your time.
