Trethevy Quoit is a Neolithic monument which dates back to 3500 BC and is one of the best preserved chambered tombs in Cornwall. Trethevy Quoit would originality have been surrounded by a large cairn leaving just the capstone showing.
Trethevy Quoit would originally contained a body but no remains have been made and it has not been excavated to date.
