UK-based Monarch Airlines is testing a menu that is expected to be beneficial to the health of passengers in flight.
Charles Spence, a professor at Oxford University, prepared the menu he describes as "strengthening the human immune system, calming the nerves, cleansing the stomach and relieving the fatigue caused by the time difference."
Spinneys, the famous British cook, Houston Blumenthal, helped prepare a number of his famous meals.
The "most promising" menu includes pieces of banpti ice cream and licorice, as well as a comfortable herbal green tea, a "cake" with lavender, and other snacks.
The ice cream helps to avoid the symptoms of cold and cough, if taken before take-off, according to the newspaper "Telegraph" British.
Medical research has shown that one out of 10 Britons has a health problem while traveling, which has made health experts think about how to minimize the risk of long-haul flights.
