“Because in the end, you won’t remember the time you spent working in the office or mowing your lawn. Climb that goddamn mountain.” by Jack Kerouac
I took this picture of my girlfriend, standing on the summit of Piton des Neiges (3,069m/10,069 ft) in Réunion, after our straight one day climb. We started in the middle of the night with our headlamps on, walked trough the rain, saw the clouds go and reached the mountain after more than eight hours of climbing. After a great sunrise, with the clear sky in the background, the moment felt extraordinary. ⛰
