Acquaintance with Paris, we begin with a visit to the Latin Quarter, the Pantheon, here is the Sorbonne - the largest university in France.
The French pantheon was built, looking at the Italian, only the dome is covered here. The most famous politicians, scientists, art people had the honor to be buried here, among them the Curie couple, Voltaire, Victor Hugo, Alexander Dumas, Emil Zola, Jean Monnet and others.
Next we go to Notre Dame Cathedral.
On the observation deck of Notre Dame De Paris, book tickets in advance on the official website. We did not get to the observation deck and admired them outside.
The cathedral is considered one of the world's masterpieces of Gothic architecture, when you sail through the island of Cite on a boat, it seems like a large moored ship.
The cathedral is permeated with history, it survived the French Revolution and partially suffered from it. Here Napoleon Bonaparte was crowned. The cathedral sang in his novels Victor Hugo. He also was the initiator of the restoration of the cathedral, thanks to which we can admire it to this day.
And finally we went to the Eiffel Tower - the symbol of this most romantic city in the world.
This is the highest building in the city and it can be seen from all its ends, even from the window of our apartments.
The completion of our evening was the march along the Champs-Elysées. And after dinner in one of the best restaurants in Paris.
Champs Elysees is more than just the street of the most expensive boutiques and fashionable restaurants in France, it has its own atmosphere, festive, lively, joyful, and you want to live and enjoy this atmosphere, you want to sing and whirl in its rhythm. And then for a long time to remember this holiday, after returning from the trip and know that this holiday is somewhere and want to return to it.
This is end of our acquaintance with Paris.
