I love scuba diving. Its the thought of going into a neutral buoyancy world and being an observer of my oceanic surroundings.
Some call scuba a sport, but I think of it as a lifestyle. I choose to spend money on top rated equipment, and throw myself into water where anything can happen. Its the thrill of going beyond 30m, paying attention to my diving tables and diving watch, and then returning upward at a controlled pace to my 3-5 minute safety stop.
The biggest thrills come when I see something just happening in the little world of fish. I mean, I am an observer, and I am observing fish go about their lives. I find it fascinating to just remain neutrally buoyant, and follow the movement of a single fish as it moves in and out of coral, or a ground dwelling creature as it moves from hole to hole.

Can you see the Mantis Shrimp?
These are all my photos from a dive in Anilao Philippines
I have dived in Japan, Philippines, Thailand, Canada and Indonesia. I think Philippine diving spots are the best. And the people are fantastic. I love the Philippines and can't wait to get back there.
