By train through Europe - 18th August - Zagreb

In the morning, we took a train to the center of Zagreb, where we were scheduled to meet with Hive account@buzzbeergeek !

He showed us around, and we had a coffee (smoothie) at a place that claimed to serve “The worst coffee in town”.

Later, we had some vegetarian lunch (Falafel <3 ).

Our tour lead us through the typical touristic sites, until we finally ended up at the bar where Hive account@buzzbeergeek does his beer tastings. Hive account@reggaemuffin could try it too this time!

Finally, Hive account@buzzbeergeek said goodbye (to go write a post) and Hive account@reggaemuffin and me were alone again. We promptly entered the “museum of broken relationships”, not exactly the most romantic place to go. But it’s quite interesting, as long as you’re willing to read a lot. Some people in there loudly complained about the amount of reading required …

Our next stop was the botanical garden of Zagreb, where I took MANY pictures of flowers. Enjoy :P

Dinner was at a place near the train station, where a super friendly waitress recommended something that contained the perfect amount of garlic. You wonder what the perfect amount is like?

As much as you can get in there.

For dessert, we went to “The Cookie factory”. Their warm brownie with peanut butter ice cream broke my heart, as I don’t know if I’ll ever return to Zagreb …
