Firstly,I would like to introduce shortly about Tourism.
Have you ever met or seen a person who doesn't like to explore new places and travel?Of course,not.Yes,tourism is as simple as that.It is the act of travelling to new and completely different places,creating memories and exploring new things.As a travel enthusiast,I love travelling and trekking,tho I havent visited so many places.I am waiting for the perfect day and the perfect moment,I mean money.HAha!!!
TOURISM IN NEPAL
Nepal and tourism are like two sides of the same coin.They are interrelated.Nepal is full of natural beauties that can attract your soul as well as completely lure you and make you stay here forever.Every year hundreds and thousands of Tourist come here from different corners of the world for enjoying the breathtaking scenarios here.A walk at Lakeside will make you walk forever,a trek to Annapurna Base Cam will lure you,a view from Poon Hill will not let your eyes shut,a view from Sarangkot will completely craze you!
POSSIBILITIES OF TOURISM
There is infinite possibilities of tourism in Nepal as the fascinating beauties like snowcapped mountains,breathtaking waterfalls,high hills lures thousands of tourist every year here in Nepal.There are many Tourist attracting sites in nepal.Some of the major tourist attracting sites are;
- Kathmandu
- Bhaktapur
- Bouddhanath Stupa
- Lumbini
- Chitwan National Park
And many other beautiful Destinations.
PROS
Tourism is the main way for collecting foreign revenue and invest in development of the country.Especially in the context of Developing countries like Nepal,Tourism is helping in uplifting the economic status of the country.Moreover,We can exchange our culture and languages to each other.We can learn different knowledgeable things when we interact with people of different countries.
CONS
No one can gurantee that every people in this universe has only good qualities,some may have bad too.Yes,there is greater chance in exploitation of culture due to some bad behaviour foreigners.Pollution may be increased due to greater volume of people.
Well,now I am entering to my main topic.
PROMOTING TOURISM IN NEPAL
There are several challenges in the sector of tourism in Nepal.I will explain them one by one.
Nepal is a country with unstable political situation.We dont know when will our Prime Minister change.It's bitter truth that the Nepalese Politicians are corrupted.Some are good as well.Due to this,there is agitation and strikes going on that make difficult for the survival of Tourist in Nepal.
Yeah,Nepal is a underdeveloped and Poor country.Due to this there is no proper Transportation facilities so it becomes difficult to transport from one place to another which is the main problem faced by tourists in Nepal.
There is no proper facilities for the security of tourists in Nepal.Consequently many tourists are facing the problems of their Personal security.Valuable goods are being stolen.
What can we do for promoting Tourism in Nepal?
- Nepal Government should implement strict rules and regulations for the protection of tourists.
- Educated guides to the tourists.
- Development of Infrastructures like Road,water.
- Raising awareness among the people about the importance of tourism in our country.
- Political Stability
If we can keep this things in mind we can surely go far in the sector of Tourism.As a responsible citizen,I also have some contributions.
