Last weekend, when I visited my mom at my brother’s condominium, I walked to Wat Rat Burana. It’s approx. 2 kgs from the condominium, it’s a great exercise for me. ;D
When I arrived at Wat Rat Burana, it didn’t disappoint me and my tiredness disappeared immediately. This was the first time that I went there, so I said WOW at my first sight of the temple’s entrance door.
When entering the entrance door, my eyes were attracted by the two big sculptures of Vessavana; the green and the white one. They look sacred. There were many garlands from people who used to worship the sculptures.
Wat Rat Burana is located by the canal and along the banks of the Chao Phraya River.
There are two pagodas, built in Mon and Khmer architectural styles. There are also two viharas (prayer halls).
There are many sacred sculptures at Wat Rat Burana for people to worship. They are all beautiful.
