I love lakes, even more then ones that they are not in main touristic route. Today after I went to the place everyone told me is amazing, lake Petrohue, I decided to explore the area on my own. The lake was pretty, had kind of a close view to the volcano, but it was a bit too full of people for my today's taste.
I took the bus back to Ensenada, on the edge of the lake Llanquihue (a name very similar to some cities in Wales) and walked on the road until I left behind the rich area with cabanas and private beaches.
This place just has a simple and humble sign to the beach and looked like a public place. On my way to reach the lake I met three more people that they were wild camping there. I knew it will be my kind.
I just chill for a while and then had and amazing pictures of my boot on the snowy vulcano. It was just me and a dog on the beach. I just sit there for a while until my photographer arrived.
She is from Switzerland (my favourite place in Europe to hike apart from Romania) and she never did before jumping pictures. We had a few trials until she manage to catch me flying. She loved the idea and i've done here own with her phone. Thank her deeply and let her enjoy the place alone as I did.
Sunny hugs,
Teodora
