I never mentioned before that I'm a member of International Association of National Knights Orders "Pro Concordatia Populorum", or how we popularly call it "PCO". The main goal of this organization is to connect people of different nations to preserve concord and peace in the world.
A few days ago we had a meeting at Lake Palic with our few friends from Hungary, because we are working together on several projects we want to implement, primarily in the field of Ecology and rising awareness in people of environmental protection.
But I will write about it and about "PCO" activities in some of the following posts.
Lake Palic is the largest natural lake in Serbia. The lake is located in the north of Serbia, near to the border with Hungary. According to the legend, the lake is the rest of the Pannonian Sea, which disappeared about 600,000 years ago.
The lake abounds with flora and fauna, beautiful nature. In addition, the lake offers various types of entertainment, swimming, sports activities, sailing, visiting the nature reserve.
The lake shore is rich with great restaurants where you can taste traditional Serbian food. I enjoyed in delicious fish stew with a glass of white wine from local vineyards.
Here are some photos I captured. Enjoy!
