In this photographic set from the Mission San Luis Rey, you can see some of the objects that were used in the mission, including a crucifix and candlesticks. In the foreground of that same image, you can see what look like branding irons with patterns; these were for making the holy wafers for the church. There also are some paintings from the mission and a figurine, made from brick, who presumably represents one of the saints revered there.
