Woke up early in the morning, which is something I usually struggle with back home. But here, it just feels easier. Quite excited to take snaps of lots of animals. Booked a taxi and headed straight to Safari World.
The weather was already warm even in the morning. Not too unbearable, but you can definitely feel the heat building up slowly. By the time I reached there, the place was already getting busy with tourists. Honestly I quite expected that.
Safari World is actually quite big, way bigger than I expected. You actually get a huge map at the entrance itself. There was a lot of walking involved, and I think I underestimated that part 😅. But honestly, it didn’t feel that bad because there was always something interesting to see. And I had all day.
Enjoy these quick snaps
| Meerkats | Girrafes | Alpaca |
| Kangaroos | Capybara | Mandrill |
| Flamingo | Camel | Malayan Tapir |
I saw so many different animals today. Some of them were just chilling, some were surprisingly active. The meerkats were quite interesting. They just stand there like they’re observing everything, and ocassionally stand up on their legs.
There were also giraffes up close, which was pretty cool to see in real life. They look so calm and slow. I spent quite a long them in there as it was quite fun to feed them and walk away slowly.
I saw a capybara just walking around near a small water area.
There were also different shows happening throughout the day. I managed to catch a few of them. It’s actually quite entertaining how they train animals for these performances. You can tell a lot of effort goes into it, but also feed a bit sad honestly.
By the afternoon, I was already feeling quite tired from all the walking. Thankfully, there was a buffet lunch included. It was a proper Thai buffet with a lot of options. I didn’t try everything, but what I had was really good. Simple, flavorful, and just what I needed after walking around for hours.
Overall, it was a really good day. A bit exhausting, but quite satisfying.
