It's now more than three years I'm living in Berlin and the more I think I discovered it all the more I find new interesting things to see. Like the botanic garden, a place you don't really put on your list when you pay a short visit to the city, especially if it's the first time. So, if you already fall in love with Berlin and been here several times, then it's the right moment to give it a try.
That's my girlfriend trying to figure out on the map something to do there...Well, that's the attitude most of the people have when they enter in "Botanischer Garten", but unless you're a plant expert it's hard to get really impressed by something. We had a quick tour of the two themed greenhouses and then we were kinda heading back to the Metro Station until..."Actually, there's a huge green area all around, what if we have a walk and chill somewhere a bit?"
That's a doubtful version of me giving credit to her...
And that's what I had in front of me after 5 minutes walking: lost in a small forest in the middle of the city! But the best part was yet to come...
One...
Two...
And three...I could have shown more of these 3d-live-paintings, but I just wanted to give u a hint. The feeling of being lost in some Monet canvas, while just half an hour before I was struggling in the city bustle with my bike, was particularly enjoyable!
Once you get in this mood it's easier to lose yourself in some cactus thorns...
...In some butterfly-shaped flowers...
...Or hide behind some big green leaves...
All right, now it's time get back to the city, where nature secretly tries to arise in every forgotten corner, as a hollow tree trunk...
Enjoy!
