Hiya Steemit!
Well it’s another one of those fantastic days here in Vancouver when “going on holiday” means merely turning off your phone and having a look around. Admittedly, my phone was on when i took all of the following photos, but i’m sure you catch my drift.
Kits Pool

Kitsilano Pool is, as far as i know, the largest swimming pool in N. America and stretches 131.5 meters. That means 4 laps (8 lengths) equals a km and 6 laps equals a mile! I tell ya, you get in and start swimming, and keep swimming, and then swim some more, and then pop yer head up and there’s still halfway to go! Here’s what the start looks like:
And here’s a pano-stich series of three photos from up above Kits Showboat (local bands and kids dance troupes perform here on many a summer’s eve).
The showboat, which faces South, is also a fave hangout spot for sun-worshippers, and is often populated by brown and leathery people who are apparently addicted to large doses of vitamin D.
The pool is moderatley heated too, and conditioned with ozone so there’s not a lot of chorine in it. Oh yeah, and it is a saltwater pool so it is buoyant and gives you that good crispy feel when you get out. Here’s me and Carlito hamming it up

Just east of the pool there is a lovely park which leads to the beach. This has got to be one of my favourite views in the city — imprinted on my mind for 40+ years!
The brown grass is a testament to the sunny summer we’ve been having this year!

If you are ever in Vancouver between May long Weekend and Labour Day you absolutely must check this attraction out. (Local’s pro tip: if it’s raining, even better! The pool is empty and since you can’t get much wetter it is a fine time to visit!)
“Okay great...” i can hear some of you mumbling “...i live in fucking Ireland, or Alabama, or Holland,” or somewhere else far away... Well that’s what the pics are for! 😜😎😂🤣

This is a 2oz, 9999 pure Silver coin that is one part of, perhaps, the most beloved series going right now. Also, it is the most kick-ass unicorn i’ve ever seen. Usually unicorns have pink manes and rainbows coming out of their asses, but this one is breaking heavy gauge chain and looking like he’s gonna’ kick yer ass — or to use that horn and really make a statement! At any rate, this is one coin that any collector or stacker would be proud to own, and i look forward to see who comes forward and claims this prize 🤘🤩
Also, however, i have chosen the unicorn because i believe in the motto: you get what you give
And i want to see a unicorn too! But i wanna’ see it show up on a few crypto charts — particularly on Po.et

Hardly a Unicorn yet. Hell! Thaz not even a narwhale. But at least it is going in the right direction 😜👍 i’ve been doing the crazy-willi-dance trying to summon the gods of crypto to shine on this one, and i think ol’ Ray-Ray has a magic lamp he’s been rubbing, so surely we are just days away from, yep, you guessed it — the Unicorn chart we’re all waiting for 🦄🦄🦄
