On a sloping site of Rideau Canal Esplanade in Ottawa, Canada, there is an installation art called Balancing that I loved having fun taking pictures with, posing along with.
With 5 wood figures made of mahogany, standing on a metal beam, representing the residents of Ottawa plus the bureaucrat, it's certainly an eye catching art to the passerby.
This installation was removed temporary between 2008-2012 for maintenance/restoration though, and I have since moved away so I don't know what it looks like now, or whether it has been placed back where it was.
If you remember my Terry Fox statue, this wood sculptures were made by the same artist 😊 Cutely, the artist added his name on one of the statues by the way!
Thanks For Looking!
