Spotted this lion stone sculpture while touring McKenzie King Estate, Gatineau/Chelsea, Canada; right by the flagpole of Moorside cottage. Pretty interesting.
Although I don't know the story, the sculptor, whether the sculpture is also historical or not (Google failed me this time 😅), there are more stone sculptures of lions by the Moorside cottage as well.
However, lion symbols are everywhere at McKenzie King Estate, by the ruins, by the coat of arms, etc.
