This has got to be the most unfortunate statue I took pictures of. How could it not, this statue was always covered with pigeons poops! Soooo dirty.
Located on a busy area near Concordia University, Montreal, Canada, the location of this statue really seemed so eventful, just by the pigeons 😅
This statue is of Norman Bethune and supposedly back in 2009, the city redesigned the square, and the area is green now, with trees, and no more pigeon feeding, so all is good 😊
Norman Bethune was a known doctor from Montreal, his specialty was thoracic surgery. During WW II he was on a mission in China and died in China. This statue was a gift from People's Republic of China.
