In this post I want to show you some of the artwork from the Eastside Gallery section of the Berlin Wall, as requested by
For those of you that don't know, the Eastside Galley is a part of the Berlin Wall that has become an international memorial for freedom featuring artists from all over the world.
It is a 1300 metre long section of the Berlin Wall located near the river. It's well known as an open air gallery of 105 paintings by artists painted in 1990.
Over two thirds of the paintings have now been damaged by weather, erosion and grafitti but lots of them have now also been restored. In these photos you can see what it looks like right now!
