I just moved to New Zealand from China and i have to say im impressed how much the care about the environment and how simple things are. Not to forget how international they are, the major nationalities are british, mauri (locals), indian... Below give some informations what make new zealand so good
The good things about new zealand are:
- Starting a business is easy, you dont need to be a resident
- The home loan rate is low
- You still get around 1% interest rate, in times of negative interest rates = pretty sweet
- Buying a car and transferring the ownership - done in 30 minutes
- Petrol prices are low around 1 USD
- Pretty good good streets even in rural areas
- People are very nice courteous and laid back (depends on the region)
- Very international, and strongly influenced by chinese / foreign investment
- Very low population so there are very little local brands which dominate the market
- Australia is just around 2h by plane away
- Fishing in the sea without licence
