After the glass bridge built in Nguluran Beach Yogyakarta, Kampung colorful Malang, and Burake Tana Toraja, finally a similar bridge also exist in Banyumas.
The bridge measuring 2.5 x 17 meters was recently unveiled at Caping Park on June 1, 2018 ago. The location is located on West Raya Baturraden Street, Kebumen Village, Baturraden, Banyumas, Central Java.
No wonder if the bridge was inaugurated in the month of Ramadan became the target of visitors during Lebaran holidays.
Since it opened, more than 5,000 visitors have come to the new rides. It was submitted Caping Park General Manager, Slamet Prayitno.
Admittedly, the glass bridge is indeed a visitor attraction even though Caping Park also offers other tours. Tourists can enjoy educational tours for children in the form of introducing them with rabbits, goats, poultry, and cows.
"Although Caping Park offers educational tours but it seems, this glass bridge invites more curious visitors," said Slamet Prayitno.
Slamet told, the glass bridge has a height of 27 meters with three layers of tempered glass.
When crossing the bridge, tourists can see the plantations that are under the bridge.
"The strength of tempered glass is able to withstand wind loads, water pressure, collisions, and to changes in high temperatures," he said.
The tempered glass also has a rubber-textured coating. Thus, when there is a crack, the glass does not break completely.
Admission price to Caping Park on weekdays, Rp 20,000 per person and weekends Rp 25,000 per person.
