This weekend me and my family we took a 4 hour trip to Lake George NY. I only heard stories about this amazing lake but never had a chance to visit it.
As we arrived to our destination the first thing that struck us was the air... yeah air. We live in New Yor City so air quality is concerning at times.
Town of Lake George is located in the middle of Adirondack region of mountains and it sits at the southern end of the lake known as the Queen of American Lakes.
Lake George itself is enormous. It's 32 miles long and abound 3 miles wide with over 170+ islands and depths reaching nearly 200 feet. The lake is situated in a beautiful region of Great Appalachian Valley and goes in to Lake Champlain.
There is plenty attractions surrounding the lake and to try and visit them all it was impossible to do only through the weekend. So I recommend if you ever decide to go there , plan some more time because it is well worth.

I definitely recommend renting one of those boats and just explore that leake
