I enter the tower of Sisak's Old Fortress and the first thing I notice is this large map of the battle hanging on the old stone walls. It is depicting the Battle of Sisak in 1593. when Ottoman troops were defeated by the joined defending armies of Croatians, Austrians and Slovenians. The troop count was 5.800 against 16.000 invaders. The final casualties were 50 to 8000 in favour of defenders which is quite an insane ratio. (source Wikipedia)
Seems that this fellow is still guarding the old walls with his rusty cannon.
The light is very dim in here but therefore it creates this moody atmosphere which is quite appropriate for the theme. Would you like to shoot from this one?
And cannonballs.
Do they make physical impact damage only, or they explode as well?
There is also a medieval accessories collection for the ladies who don't want to dwell upon the images of bodies torn apart with savage cannon ball blasts. Run before it's sold out...
A chain mail purse, anyone? :D :D :D
