Picigin is a ball game from Split, second largest Croatian city.
Local guys invented the game, and haven't stopped playing for more than a century...

Basically, players stand in shallow water and keep the small ball from falling into the sea, using one hand only
They get extra points for sliding into water or showing skill when hitting the ball
They are known for showing off when others are watching
Women play too, but in a more deeper water
